Alex H The simple things done exceptionally well in a fantastic location with some great touches! We stayed at Norden Farm and it was one of those places that proves you do not need flashy facilities to deliver an exceptional break. If you want simple done exceptionally well, with a few thoughtful touches that make a real difference, this is as good as it gets. The location is a major part of what makes it so special. It is an easy 20 minute stroll into Corfe Castle, which means you can wander up to the village, explore the castle, and then settle into one of the pubs without ever needing to drive. From the campsite you are also perfectly placed for exploring the Purbecks, with attractions and beaches all within easy reach, and plenty of great walking routes nearby for anyone who wants to get out on foot. The site itself is excellent. It is level, clean, and very well kept, with a calm and friendly feel. Everything is clearly maintained to a high standard, without it feeling over managed or artificial. The shop is genuinely brilliant too, stocked with everything you might need, which saves a lot of faff and makes day to day life on site really easy. One of the unexpected highlights for us was the atmosphere around the events fields, where we caught some excellent live music. It gave the place a bit of character and made the evenings feel that little bit more special. And the peacocks were a hit with the kids from day one, a simple thing but it kept them entertained and added a proper “campsite memory” feel to the trip. Overall, Norden Farm is one of the very best campsites we have stayed at. It is not about big waterparks and constant entertainment, it is about doing the basics perfectly, in a brilliant location, with just enough extra to make it feel like a real treat. We would not hesitate to return. AndyF1tz Top site All ways round, this is a super campsite. Great reception by friendly staff, really good facilities (the lovely warm showers were especially welcome), fab shop on site, and a lovely friendly vibe. We'll definitely be back; thank you Norden Farm! suziQEssex Lovely Stay We had a lovely 4 night stay at Norden Farm at the beginning of October in our Motorhome. Coming to the end of the season we had our site more or less to ourselves although there were more people on the other sites who were very friendly and repeat visitors which is always a good sign . This a big site on a working farm where there are so many nice walks to explore the surroundings plus play areas for children. Great facilities - washing area may look a bit old fashioned but dont be fooled . Excellent - spacious , spotless and powerful , hot showers . The site has a lovely shop with everything you need - from locally resourced food , lovely gifts and doggie stuff plus a beautiful small garden centre . The site is perfect for exploring the local area from walks and it was so easy to get the bus to Poole , Swanage etc as bus stop is right outside . It is also a short walk to Corfe Castle where there are a couple of pubs - we visited the Fox which was lovely Some people have commented that the site is overly strict which is ridiculous - this is a working farm with high standards of animal husbandry . It was very sad to hear from a very nice member of staff that a goat had been mauled by a dog ( we saw her - her poor ear was bitten off) because of irresponsible people who cant supervise their children or dog. Good for Norden Farm !! Really enjoyed our stay despite the weather and highly recommend 5*plus . Big shout out to Mr Chips and Sausage - the friendly goats who made our visit !! Mollymahome Best facilities we have ever seen in the UK. Nice campsite. Fantastic, spotless facilities. Great to meet wardens Sharon and Steve. We only stayed one night as we were passing through to visit Corfe Castle. Wonderful to hear the Sika Deer calling out as it was during the rutting season. Lisa and Neil Climber40808159290 Great We stayed in this lovely cottage, which turns out to be the last year, it is on a good bus route, has a nice farm shop, a good walk to Corfe Castle and a nice dog friendly cafe at Holme Garden Centre near Wool which also has nice gifts. There are also two friendly Billy Goats. Caroline A A fantastic find! Great site. Mainly level grass pitches with electric hook-ups. No hardstandings. On a working farm but with a large exercise field where dogs can be let off lead. Plenty of footpaths from site. Excellent facilities which are kept spotlessly clean. Best showers on any campsite that we have visited so far. Brilliant farm shop on site which is well stocked as open all year even once campsite closes st end of October. Bus stop out side main entrance . Easy access to Swanage or Poole. Only slight negative, watch out for the peacock poo! Torches essential at night. An easy 20 minute fairly level walk to Corfe Castle and the Swanage railway is also nearby. Hope to return. madawan t Amazing food from the bap box! And great views from the campsite! Lovely campsite with great food from the bap box! Super tasty and good prices! I would definitely recommend the Maddy’s millionaire hot chocolate and the egg bacon and sausage bap! very clean facilities and great views from the campsite! Carolyn S Overall great apart from buying from burger van for the first time We have stayed at Norden farm many times, lovely site with spotless toilets and shower facilities, also has a lovely farm shop stocking just about everything you may need, although this year after getting soaked setting up and feeling to tired to cook went to the burger van, well lets say it wasnt a great taste experience and £7.50 for a small burger in a big bap with a few scraps of onion and tiny bit of salad,we will stay at norden farm again, just avoid burger van.Tripadvisor rating score: 4.3 of 5, based on 451 reviews
john dale Very good campsite, well thought out well run, with a friendly team of people. Great walks, bus services right outside campsite. Brilliant on-site shop, hot clean showers what more could you need. Roy Doust We originally booked 3 nights stay in our motorhome the staff are excellent the location is great we changed our stay to 4 nights. Corfe Castle and Village are around 20 min stroll and the Village is beautiful. Bus stops tight outside farm entrance so we went o poole, Wareham and Swanage, definatly recommend this site and we will return W. Y. A wonderful Farm, very nice! Neil 1313 If you are in the Wareham or Swanage area, as well as camping and room accommodation, the Norden Farm Shop is fabulous: not just all your camping needs, but a great range of food and gifts, from fridge magnets to local butter, and French onions, garlic and shallots, and vine tomatoes to a lovely range of plants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Various fouls wandering around are also entertaining..... Julia Davy Great dog friendly campsite with spacious pitches and clean facilities. It's an easy walk into Corfe Castle along a track away from the road and an excellent onsite farm shop for all your needs - and more!Google rating score: 4.6 of 5, based on 847 reviews
